stock.ex.gold is the system of record for jewellers — the stock room, the live rate board and the public storefront all run off the same data. The frontend is where all of that becomes tangible for a shop owner standing at the counter.
We are looking for a senior engineer who enjoys building fast, accessible, production-grade Angular applications and is comfortable owning a feature from design conversation to deployed, measured release.
What you will do
- Design and ship features across the stock management app, the branded storefronts and the marketplace.
- Work with signals, NgRx SignalStore, SSR and hydration on Angular 22 — and keep bundle size, Core Web Vitals and accessibility honest.
- Pair with design on motion, typography and layout so the product feels as considered as the jewellery it manages.
- Review code, mentor mid-level engineers and help raise the bar on testing and tooling.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years building complex web applications, with at least 3 on modern Angular.
- Strong TypeScript, RxJS and reactive state fundamentals; opinions on when not to use them.
- Comfort with Tailwind or utility-first CSS and an eye for spacing, rhythm and type.
- Experience with SSR/hydration, performance profiling and real-user monitoring.
- Clear written communication — most of our decisions live in pull requests and short design notes.
Nice to have
- Exposure to Go or Java services, Firestore or GCP.
- Previous work in fintech, commodities or retail/point-of-sale products.
- Open-source contributions or a public side project we can look at.
How we work
Small, senior team; short written design notes over long meetings; code review as a conversation. We keep overlap hours across Dubai, the UK and Europe and protect focus time the rest of the day. Equal opportunity employer — we hire for what you can do, not where you are from.
Sounds like you?
