Behind every rate on the board and every listing on the marketplace is a small set of Go services that ingest market data, value stock and serve storefronts across regions and currencies.

You will join a small, senior team and own meaningful slices of that platform end to end — schema to API to observability.

What you will do

  • Design and build HTTP/gRPC services in Go, from domain modelling through to deployment on Cloud Run.
  • Work on rate ingestion, regional pricing and subscription plans — correctness and idempotency matter here.
  • Own data modelling in Postgres and Firestore, and the migrations that go with it.
  • Instrument what you ship: structured logs, traces and dashboards that tell us something useful at 3am.

What we are looking for

  • 4+ years of backend experience, including substantial production Go.
  • Solid grasp of relational data modelling, transactions and concurrency.
  • Experience running services on a public cloud (GCP preferred) with CI/CD you have shaped yourself.
  • Pragmatic approach to testing — unit, contract and the occasional end-to-end run.

Nice to have

  • Pub/Sub or event-driven systems experience.
  • Familiarity with precious metals, FX or payments domains.

How we work

Small, senior team; short written design notes over long meetings; code review as a conversation. We keep overlap hours across Dubai, the UK and Europe and protect focus time the rest of the day. Equal opportunity employer — we hire for what you can do, not where you are from.
